Requia first entered Dividia during the War of Allies. The
kingdom was once a mighty naval power on their prosperous offshore island. When
Mylion's malicious half-brother Hadrian returned with his vile hordes, Requia
was forced to retreat. The fleeing people landed on the shores of Dividia, where
they formed a close alliance with the House of Lai. Their prince and current
ruler, Mylion Vaught was killed during the war at the hands of Akshara. The
young prince was then revived and assumed his rule.
After the War, Requia began to regain their footing on this accursed land. The reconstruction was costly as well as time-consuming, but efforts were not in vain. Requia was prospering once again, and with their newfound allies, the future looked very promising.
Seven years later, when the new threat of Mennon Leo and his Dark Regime surfaced, Requia found themselves once again retreating. Mylion led the remainder of his people underground, where they currently reside in a series of tunnels spanning miles underground. Scouts report that Mennon has not yet discovered their new whereabouts, but they are still in great danger. Mylion has been unable to communicate with other resistance leaders, do to the fact Leo's armies are forever seeking the remaining Dividians out.
The latest war has ~not~ completely left the Requians crippled once more. While in the tunnels, the Requians looked towards modernization techniques. Valuable gems have also been uncached in the walls of the subteranean lair. The tunnels and caves extend so deep, that a fresh-water river wasflows through much of the caverns. Mylion soon left the tunnels with cavalry escorts, and formed a treaty with Genesis.
After Musha Ikaryu and his remnants of the Linlion army discovered Requia and their secret civilization, it was clear it was no longer secret. Requians returned to the surface with an alliance to both Mikhale Opterra, and the nation of Lamentations (Former Genesis).
